The Anger Resolution Online Therapy programme (Standard Programme) is the same as the Anger Resolution Online Programme with added live video conferencing therapy sessions over a 12-week period. The above terms also apply. There are no refunds on live sessions either taken or not taken by the purchaser after 48 hours of enrolling on the The Anger Resolution Online Therapy Programme.

Commitment

All types of therapy and coaching are treatments that rely on the commitment and motivation from both the therapist and the client to get the best results. Part of the treatment occurs in the live 1-2-1 sessions and part of the treatment is cognitive reflection or specific home exercises. As the client, when you agree to undertake a course of treatment you also agree to engage with the process, complete any home exercises that you are given and listen to the mp3’s at the directed times. It is with commitment and partnership working together that you will see the best results. Therapy is a team effort and I am committed to do my very best for you.

Therapy Fees

Payment for either an online product or a combined product/therapy package must be paid within 24 hours of an appointment being made. Each standard session lasts up to 60 minutes and the agreed fee per package is stated on the product page. Fees are payable at the time of booking within 24 hours of a session being booked by credit or debit card via PayPal.

Late Payments

In the event of using a payment instalment plan,  a secure PayFunnels link will be provided to you in order to complete your registration. This will involve you making an initial payment, with the agreed upon subsequent payments being automatically charged to your card on a monthly basis until your programme has been paid in full.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate funds in your account at each payment date. Failed or late payments will incur a £50 penalty fee. In the event the payment is not received within 7 days, interest will be added to your outstanding amount at 9% per annum. After 7 days from the missed payment date, you forfeit all future sessions and must settle your account in full as originally agreed. After 30 days, if the outstanding debt has still to be settled, the designated collection agency will then take over the case in order to settle the full outstanding account balance, including any penalties, in addition to the cost of their services.

Medication

It is important to understand that if you are taking medication for your issues that some medications have side effects that can affect the success of your therapy. Some medications can cause chemical reactions in the brain which may cause therapy to be ineffective. Please bear this in mind.

Sessions bookings

Any sessions booked and paid for must be taken within 12 months of payment. Refunds will not be given for any sessions booked and not taken. A grace period of 48 hours after receipt of payment will be given if you change your mind and a full refund will be given minus Paypal and administrative fees (approximately 5%). If you have already received a therapy session in this period you are no longer eligible for a refund of any kind.

After 48 hours no refund will be given. No partial refunds on the Accelerated Trauma Resolution Therapy packages are allowed as they are already discounted fees. As you are also receiving a digital product as part of the Accelerated Trauma Resolution Therapy packages this cannot be returned – therefore no refunds can occur after 48 hours of enrolling on those programmes.

Outcomes

If you are successful in your application to enrol on the full 12-week Accelerated Trauma Resolution Online Therapy Package, I will assist you in reducing and resolving the impact of multiple painful/traumatic memories. In providing this guarantee I do not in any way claim I will assist you to reduce and resolve the impact of every painful experience from your past. I simply state that if you attend each of the sessions ready and prepared, engage fully in every session, complete the self-directed reflection, home exercises and listen to the full 6-week progressive hypnotherapy programme as suggested, the impact of multiple painful/traumatic memories will be reduced. As working through past painful experiences can be challenging, progress is not expected to be linear. There will undoubtedly be ups and downs and it is important we continue to communicate and work together throughout these periods.

The reduction or resolution of the impact of these memories will be tracked and measured throughout each session, in addition to any text/email feedback provided or during reflections at the beginning/end of each session.

Additional information collected during the programme, such as health data collected through smart watches may also provide evidence for the reduction of stress over the course of the programme. Reduction in resting heart rate, an increase in sleep duration/quality and increases in heart rate variability may also provide additional evidence for the effectiveness of our work together. Due to the many external factors that could influence these metrics, this data cannot be used to negate or challenge the effectiveness of therapy.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the time invested in preparation, research and planning for your session, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required prior to your appointment time for any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time will be charged at the full rate or the pre-booked session will be forfeited.
Non-attendance will also still be charged at the full session rate.

If you need to cancel or change your appointment please ring 07825160211 during working hours (08:30 -17:30 GMT) and leave your name, telephone number and a convenient time to receive a call. It is also recommended to send an email to info@thetraumaexpert.co.uk and clearly state the appointment you are referring to, and provide as many alternative dates and times as you can for the next appointment. As an additional option, the contact form on my website https://www.thetraumaexpert.co.uk can be used to inform me of requests to change appointment times.

Arriving Late for an Appointment

It is your responsibility as the client to record and prepare appropriately for your session so that you can attend your appointment on time. Coaching and sessions have a duration of up to 60 minutes. I am unable to extend any coaching or hypnotherapy session due to commitments made to other clients.

For any online session, if you are more than 20 minutes late and have not informed me of your current circumstances the session will be forfeited.
Confidentiality

In order to ensure continued best practice everything you say will be treated in the strictest confidence with the following exceptions:
Self-Harm: I may need to contact your GP if it appears that you are suicidal or intend to carry out serious self-harm.
Abuse or Injury to a Minor: I am legally required to report any abuse towards a minor to the appropriate authorities should you divulge any such information to me.

Standards of Behaviour

A mutual relationship of respect, honesty and openness will provide the platform to achieve the best results possible during our time together. You agree not to come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those medications prescribed by your doctor. If you do come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs or demonstrate violent/abusive behaviour, I reserve the right to cancel the session and refuse any further therapy sessions.

Data Protection

  • Your sessions with me will be confidential as per the Data Protection Act guidelines, and outlined on ico.org.uk.
  • I will not confer with your doctor or any other person of a professional standing without your knowledge and written permission. When agreement is made between you and myself regarding the consensual sharing of information, it will only ever be non-specific information shared, such as name/address/birthdate or a treatment plan outline.
  • However if there is convincing evidence that you intend to harm yourself or others, I will need to break confidentiality by informing your doctor, or someone in authority, but again this would only take place with your prior knowledge.
  • I will keep brief notes after a session, which will be securely stored, in a locked cabinet. Nobody else will have access to those notes.
  • I have password protection and encryption on all devices that use electronic data, such as computer/phone/tablet. No one has access to those devices but me, so if we converse via any of those methods in the way of email or text, you can be assured of confidentiality.
  • I only keep your details only as long as necessary. Your client file, which contains brief notes about the work we do together, is held for a period of time (7 years) as set out by my insurer & as per GDPR regulations.
  • On rare occasions, it may be that our initial work together may highlight the need for me to recommend you for referral to another health care practitioner for some form of specialist therapy or medical care. In this instance your options will be explained to you fully.
  • Above all, these guidelines are there for the benefit of all of my clients. It helps to contain the sessions and ensures that you get the very best out of your sessions with me.
